Actress Anushka Sharma, cricketer Virat Kohli tie the knot in Italy

A statement released by the family announcing the wedding said:

We are very happy to announce that Ms. Anushka Sharma and Mr. Virat Kohli got married at a private ceremony in Italy, today. The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair. The wedding was performed as per Hindu rituals. Top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has designed the wedding ensemble for both the bride and the groom. Virat and Anushka will now start inviting all industry friends and colleagues for the celebrations that are set to happen in Mumbai.

The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on 21st December which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on 26th December.

The newly wed couple will travel to South Africa where Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year's Eve with him and return in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Anand L Rai's film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on 9th February.

Virat, on the other hand, will be playing the series in South Africa for 2 months which includes three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

Post their wedding the newly wed couple will be shifting to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai in December once they return from Delhi.

Their spokesperson said, "We are extremely grateful to the media for their support and understanding in making this special occasion a memorable one and thank them for their continued love and support."

Earlier today evening, Filmfare had reported that the power couple has tied the knot in a private ceremony in Milan, Italy. An insider told Filmfare that the ceremony took place earlier this morning amidst close family and friends.

After an extensive hunt for a new face to star opposite Aamir Khan in 'Dhoom 3', the film makers have finally decided on actress Katrina Kaif to play the female lead in the upcoming sequel of the blockbuster series.

Yash Raj Films made the announcement today after director Vijay Krishna Acharya (popularly known as Victor), and producer Aditya Chopra decided to go with the leggy beauty.

"After almost a year of searching for a new face for 'Dhoom 3' we were still unable to find the perfect debutant to play the lead role. We even reached out to international talent but were still unable to find someone who stood out. Both Adi and I really wanted to be sure that the person we chose would be perfect for the role," Victor said in a statement. "Once we decided to go with a known face and not pursue the new-comer route, Katrina was the obvious choice for all of us. She is someone who we all know will bring tremendous enthusiasm and commitment to the film. The first time pairing of Aamir with Katrina will also certainly add value," he said.

The theme of the 'Dhoom' series centres around thrill, action, bike chases, handsome thieves, smart and daring stealing plans. After the success of 'Dhoom' (2004) and 'Dhoom-2' (2006), there is much buzz in B-town regarding the next sequel. Aamir would be seen as the baddie in the film while actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra would be continuing with their famous pair of 'Jai' and 'Ali'.

Everyone knows Rakesh Roshan has started work on his new project. But here's Exclusive info on the film...

 Title clarity: The film is titled KRRISH 3, not KRRISH 2. "KOI MILGAYA was the first part, KRRISH was the second. Hence, KRRISH 3 now," Rakesh Roshan clarified to this writer.

3D or no 3D: There's talk that Rakesh Roshan is shooting the film in 3D. "That's untrue. I am not shooting the film in 3D. As for converting it to 3D, this is one decision I will take once I complete the principal shooting of the film," the veteran film-maker divulges.

Current status: "KRRISH 3 will complete the principal shooting in October this year. I plan devote an entire year thereafter for special effects and post-production work. I am in no hurry to release the film," Roshan Sr. reveals.

Release date: KRRISH 3 will release in Diwali 2013. "Yes, that's the release date we are looking at," the successful film-maker discloses.
